Has anyone eaten here? I've tried searching for reviews and/or pictures of their food, and can't find anything.

I believe there's more than that now. I saw a recent menu and it listed items such as BBQ ribs, chicken and brisket. I was hoping it would be a decent place for a CS meal, which DHS can certainly use.

We ate there in January and had Ribs, Brisket, Chicken, beans, fries... all kinds of stuff. Definitely enough to split!:thumbsup2

I thought we might give it a try in October and since we will be back before you leave I should be able to get you some info.

We are planning to try it in October so I can give you both some feedback.

We are hoping the new menu will make it kind of like Flame Tree, especially since Flame Tree will be closed during our trip.

Fairfax Fare is on Sunset heading towards Tower of Terror on the left.

Yes, there are definitely barbeque-style options there now. I want to say they were there prior to the beginning of December 2009, because I could swear that my daughter and I split a chicken/ribs combo plate during her birthday trip last year. It was ABSOLUTELY enough food for two people to share (unless one of them is really ravenous) and would be a real bargain if you're on the DDP and you need two people to share one credit.

It was by no means the best BBQ I've ever had, but it was perfectly fine food for a DHS counter service, and certainly large enough portions to satisfy one very hungry person or two reasonably hungry people.

Another great thing about the DIS. I wouldn't have known about the change in the menu (probably not even looked over there) if I had not seen it online. We will check it out in Oct. also. I had been over in that part of Sunset many times but must not have noticed it.

The menu actually looks pretty decent. Any reviews would be great....looks like a place my family would enjoy.

Yeah I checked out this menu a few weeks back and it looks like a good idea for one of our meals.

We have planned to be at HS during lunch time for two days on our ten night trip, and I thought that we would probably visit WPE at DtD for the first day, and either this or Pizza Planet for the other day.

However we would only visit Pizza Planet for the Toy Story theming, which I remember as being pretty useless on our last trip so it looks like this will be our best option.

Where is this even at? I don't remember ever seeing it.

This has happened to me a lot at DHS. The CS restaurants there are not glaringly obviously restaurants from the outside, unless you are actually looking for them.

I didn't get the theming there. I think they could have used very little effort to accomplish a lot more in the theming department for that one. Just my personal opinion.

I agree with you on PP theming, if they had make it look like the one in the film it would be so awesome! But it's just like an average gaming arcade with lame video games and it looks kinda crowded too.

Maybe just a photo stop would do :)

the disney food blog mentioned that it was very similar to cosmic's rays in the magic kingdom if you have eaten there.

I had the Fairfax salad in May and I loved it! It's officially my new favorite counter service item (excluding desserts! ;) anywhere in WDW. It's like a cross between a taco salad and like a southwestern type salad with corn. Really tasty.

I've been there a few times. The ribs, chicken, and brisket remind me of Flame Tree -Barbecue - smoky flavor, but a different rub (not Flame Tree's unique pink rub). I'd say it's one of the better CS places at DHS.
