My favorite is fried dough (much larger than a zeppoli) with powdered sugar and an ice cold cup of fresh squeezed lemonade.

is this the same as a funnel cake? I have never tried a funnel cake Lemonade is delicious but always gives me heartburn

Its like a fried dough frisbee. I'm not sure if it tastes like funnel cake, I always assumed FC was more cake batter poured into hot oil where as FD is just a big wad of dough. I'm sure they taste just as good as the other, you can't go wrong when you combine fried food with sugar

Can't wait for fair season!! Since we only go to a couple I don't feel guilty indulging in all the horribly greasy, fattening and sugary treats.

Love the fresh hot giant donuts that are sprinkled with sugar. They just melt in your mouth. Of course, a corn dog is always a must. My DH loves the sausage and peppers grinder. The big E has lots of good stuff. The giant eclairs take a couple of days to eat.

Well I only had 1 zeppole last night! My boyfriend ate the rest before I could get any pictures. But i'll be in the dunk tank for the rest of the week most likely, so don't worry, there will be pictures of the zeppoles. My poor friends were melting in there.

That is why I always make sure to take a pepcid AC before heading out to the fair. Then you can eat with no boundaries.

OMG, I LOVE them!! They work for 12 hours and can be taken before you eat anything to prevent heartburn or after the heartburn starts. I lived on them when I was pregnant.

I never buy the name brand because they are so expensive. I always get the walmart brand and they run about $4 for 60 tablets. I think the name brand would run you like $40 or $50 for that many.

Fried Dough, italian sausage with peppers and onions, pizza, curly french fries, tacos, cotton candy, candy apples and a sno-cone. We are so spoiled with the best Fair food! The Erie County Fair in WNY!

Schwans home delivery is now making a donut product that is to die for!

Around here say Santas village we get these mini fried donuts covered with Cinnamon and sugar that are just to delicous.

We have a fry daddy and just mad e abatch this morning. They taste exactly like they do at a fair!
