I had a double root canal on two of my top front teeth on Monday. Everything went great during the procedure and I was a little bit sore the days following, but today I am having alot of pain. Any type of pressure on my tooth is causing alot of pain. Any biting with it, or even when my toungue pushes on the tooth when I am talking or if I am chewing on a different side of my mouth, if my top tooth hits a bottom tooth it is painful.
I called my dentist and he said it is sometimes normal for this to happen, but he did sound like it could be something wrong, and told me to take advil for a few more days and call back.
I am first wondering if this sounds like a failed Root Canal? Also if it is and its something that the dentist did wrong or didn't do correctly, do they redo the root canal/fix it for free or do I have to pay more money to have it fixed?
