'Fahrenheit 9/11' too hot for Disney

I know there aren't a lot of "political" topics posted here, but this article caught my attention as it involved Disney.

Excerpt:
"Filmmaker Michael Moore -- who attracts controversy the way Barry Bonds attracts walks on four pitches -- is at the epicenter of yet another one.

This flashpoint is 'Fahrenheit 9/11,' his latest documentary, which connects President Bush to the family of Osama bin Laden and other oil-rich Saudis and takes the president to task for his response to the Sept. 11 catastrophe.

Miramax Films announced yesterday that it would not be distributing the film. This was a day after Walt Disney Co., which owns Miramax, made a public statement that it would prevent Miramax from releasing the documentary....

For the past year, Miramax has been under enormous pressure from Disney to distance itself from "Fahrenheit 9/11." The New York Times reported a claim made by Moore's agent, denied by Disney executives, that Disney chief Michael Eisner was concerned that the film might endanger the tax breaks his company receives from the state of Florida, whose governor, Jeb Bush, is the president's brother...."
