I heard MM on WJR this afternoon with Mitch Album in
a very good interview. He makes no bones about the
fact this movie is from his view point, and edited as such.

He twists truths and facts to support his opinions no
more or less than most other directors.

I think it's great that AAFES is showing the movie - then any military members or their family will only have to pay $2 or $3 to see it - cheaper than renting And there is a good chance it will play to sellout audiences on some of the bases but that is for 2 reasons - 1 - smaller theaters and 2 - AAFES only shows movies 1 or 2 nights max so it's see it then or not at all. Heck most AAFES theaters are only open Thurs through Sunday each week anyway.

You're argument would be valid except for the proven fact that MM tricks his audiences into thinking that he's giving an accurate portrayal of an event or someone's position when in fact in a lot of cases, he's not.

So why would I need to watch ANYTHING he makes to have the opinion that he manipulates the facts to suit his agenda?

How many posts have there been by people who actually went to the movie who had negative things to say about it? Admittedly, I have been absent a lot lately, and have no doubt missed posts, but I can only recall one that criticized the movie. And that poster specifically said they dislike it so much they walked out early.

It's quite obvious that most people have a predisposed opinion of the film based on their views. MM fans (and Bush haters) will love the movie whether or not it's accurate and MM haters will not see the film based on MM's track record.

BTW, I have no intentions on seeing ANY MM films. Ever.

I'm right there with Ya! There is no way I would spend my hard earned cash on this crap.
