Anyone else out there excited that this show is now available on DVD???


I'm pretty sure this thread will die a lonely death, since DH says i am the only person that watched this show!! but i LOVE it!!

I used to watch this show all the time. I probably wont get the DVD though. I just dont buy very many DVDs for some reason. But I will say, the highlight of my childhood was when I met Kim Fields (Tootie). She was a speaker at some conference to get girls motivated to be whatever they wanted. There was picture time and time for us to talk with her after she spoke. I think I was about 8 at the time. I still have the pic I took with her. Came across it just the other day.

I saw Blair and Jo on one of the morning shows (I think on CNN) promoting the DVD. I think it's cool! I loved that show! I want to show it to my DD's.

I loved this show growing up. Once my kids were watching a Scooby Doo video and I suddenly yelled out "That's Natalie Green!" Mindy Cohn does the voice of Velma in the new Scooby movies.

I don't know if I would buy the DVD, because I am a cheapskate, but I sure would be happy to get it as a gift.

I loved the show when it was in first-run episodes, but I wouldn't watch it now. my kids have seen episodes of the show on TVLand or one of those channels and they like it and can relate, so I might by the DVD for them.

I finally got to meet Lisa W. at a homeschooling convention. She was a riot when she spoke. I felt like a big ol' dummy when we met her at her table afterwards. All I needed was a kick me sign on my back and all would have been complete.

I used to watch it. I liked Blair the best! How fun that it is coming out on DVD I doubt I would buy it but it would be fun to rent with a girlfriend and a bottle of wine!

I'll be getting it. I love TV shows on DVD. They are becoming one of my obsessions. I love getting the shows I loved as a kid and seeing which ones hold up.

You are not the only person who watched that show faithfully. I may rent the DVD's for my daughter to watch. She should get a kick out of the clothes and hair.

I watched it, and I liked it! I liked it better before it became just the four girls, but I watched until they moved into the house or whatever.

I used to watch "The Facts of Life" when it was on primetime all the way through to syndication. I wanted to BE Blair Warner; I thought she was the prettiest girl on TV.

I loved that show, it was the best. I wanted to move away to a boarding school just like the girls in the show. I once sent away for their autograph (probably something I read in teen beat or some crazy teen mag) and got a postcard with a picture of all of them signed. Of course it was a copy but who cares, I was big time....
