oh god im having palpitations

my youngest daughter was 13 today and as i promised she opened a facebook account.

im more worried about having to curb my behaviour than her adding a weirdo as we have set strict ground rules.

shes now a normal teenager!

help

my dd is 12 and has a facebook account , its set up to come to my email so i can monitor her.
I also block some of my own posts so she cant see me moaning about her and her brothers...lol
mostly shes been just fine though and doesnt use it that much...i actually gave in and let her have it to keep in touch with primary friends when she moved up to big school.

I think, so long as its monitored correctly like you guys are, then there is no worries with Facebook! I think its a good way of keeping in touch with people, especially friends from work/school.

The only problem I see with it is, we have to control our bloomin behaviour!!!:lmao:

I have this dilemma and posted about it on Facebook.:rotfl: My DD wants an account but I am a bit wary. I think you can block your DD from seeing your posts while still being able to see all of hers.:confused3

thanks

ill have a mess about with the settings.

she got a mobile phone the year she went to senior school and has barely used it so im hoping this is like that!

:)

this is most definitely my main concern. dd16 and dh already think im bonkers. will try and keep dd13s view of me as "sane" for a little while longer

:rotfl:
