Since it's switched to the "new facebook" have you been having a lot of erros coming up if you are trying to view profiles or chat? Everytime I try to use chat it goes off line and then errors - it didn't used to do this before it changed over.

I just wondered if anyone else is having the same issues?

I've never used the chat bit of Facebook. I do get quite a few errors that I have to "accept" to carry on somethimes....

Since it switched I seem to have lost loads of things I had on there

I had a really nice countdown ticker for my holiday that's disappeared

I've never attempted chat I only started Facebook to keep in touch with my niece who is in Australia.

I do too, I think there is a group that you can join as a kind of petition, maybe we should all join too!

I didn't like it at first (I kept switching back to the old Facebook until they withdrew that option), but now that I'm used to it, I really like it. I have occasionally had some error messages, but nothing critical.

Elaine, have you tried looking at your list of Applications (pull up from the bottom left-hand corner and then click 'Edit'). I had to add a couple back to my profile so that I could see them on the Boxes tab.

I can't be bothered with the new Facebook. I used to on there a lot before it was changed. Now I haven't been on for a couple of weeks! Lots of people that I know have constant error messages and chat is useless!

Facebook chat has always been rubbish, saying people are offline when they're not.

I've got used to the new facebook now too, and is much better for discussion (little box at the bottom instead of having topress reply, then send etc).

Your applications should be in the list in the bottom left corner, or your boxes. I have a ticker, and found mine when I clicked boxes on my profile.

Seem`s to me that the new facebook is creating no end of problems for a lot of ppl.
I have been appearing off-line a lot as every time somebody tried to send me a chat message I was booted and I also get a lot of error messages as many have you have said about.

Bring back the old facebook!!

I'm usually offline too. But I do occasionally have a peek to see who is online lol
