Facebook question..possible hacking situation???

And my 20 questions continues. Geez.

Just got a facebook message from my husband's cousin who pretty much never posts on facebook. (the last thing that shows up on her wall is March 7). I have had a friend who was hacked before..so I am suspect.

I got a message that said she was moving near here at the end of this week and she wanted my info as an emergency contact.


My husband was just at her home in June in SC on his return trip up and she never made mention of moving.

It seems odd to me that she didn't e-mail him on top of that. I hate to suspect, but it just seems fishy to me since I have never had direct communication before. Thoughts?

My DH visited her and her family in June when driving back to VA.

it does seem a little weird...maybe email her directly (not through Facebook) and ask her about it. Also change your Facebook password just to be safe.

Since it is out of character, I would call. You have to be careful these days, plus I would not want my contact info in print on FB anyway.

I emailed her to call hubby and she did. It is all on the up and up.
