Are there any games on facebook that would be appropriate for a 6 year old? They would also have to be easy enough for her to play obviously.

I would never let my 6 yo have a facebook account, but if there were games I could set up under my account, I would let her play.

TIA!

My kids like the ones I play: ZooWorld, TikiFarm and Country Life.

Instead of FB games why not let her play on club penguin, nick jr, icarly or other child friendly sites?

you could get her a webkinz and set up her own play time. I would get on my DS webkinz when he had one and play the games with him.

If not on facebook... farmville, frontierville, fishville, zooworld. The only problem is you have to keep playing to get more time or make money to keep playing longer.

Pretty good advice, IMO.

BUT, if you are still looking for facebook games- try Farm Town.

My nephew plays Bubble Pop on my sister's FB account. Maybe that game might work for her.

try Mindjolt games on FB. They have many different games that a six year old would like. games that are matching games or card games or puzzle games. Just be cautious when loading, some things on FB are not six year old friendly.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

We have tried some of the nick jr/noggin/disney game sites, but they are sooooo slow to load and run (plus the ads!) and we sometimes have problems with them causing browser shutdowns. So she understandably gets frustrated and wants no part of them.

I will try some of the facebook suggestions. Thanks again.

The 'slow download' with the Disney site and Nick Jr. site is likely not a problem with them, but rather the fact that your computer and internet aren't up to speed -- any internet less than 7mbps is going to have a hard time coping with modern internet based games.

For general games I usually suggest MSN games....lots of types, ranging from mindlessly easy to very hard. Failing that I'd get Jr a Nintendo DS and some kid friendly games. Much easier to control, no need for you to have to log the kid in or monitor what they are doing.

my 4 year old daughter loves playing Petville on facebook. I think its appropriate for the kids to play.
