My son and I were looking through some pictures on here, and he noticed some of the awesome face painting that some of the kids had.

I know that they used to do it in Toontown, but with that closed, where can you get your face painted in the parks? We are going next month and he would love to have it done!

:flower3:

My step son got his face painted at a booth in Animal Kingdom. Can't remember exactly where it was located though.

Yes, Animal Kingdom, it was a while ago, but I think it was not far from Tusker House...

I know they had them in HS, because that's where my niece had it done. I believe it was just pass where Star Tours is.

Animal Kingdom has a great selection. DS had his face painted as a tiger, and everywhere we went people asked about it. It lasted all day too. The best part was the CMs and characters all acted like he was a tiger. Tigger was hilarious and acted like he had found his long lost twin, and got DS to bounce with him.

My DD does this every trip - we do it on our AK day - the stand is located in Dinoland next to triceptop sping ride and across from Primevil Whirl, near the carnival games.

They have a great selection and do a wonderful job and its not overly expensive.

My son also got the full tiger face done at Animal Kingdom. It was awesome and we received comments all day about it. Every time we stopped for pictures, the photographer found interesting ways to emphasize the "tiger" in our group.

The stand was outside of Tusker House. :thumbsup2

My son got Pluto done at Epcot back in the world showcase area. The dragon was done at downtown disney :thumbsup2

Thanks everyone!!!

It looks like we will have a couple of different choices. :cool1:

Epcot, DAK, DHS, and DTD all offer face painting (different themes are well explained).

Unfortunately, after Toontown closed they removed the MK option from the park. Another option at MK is The Pirates League.

Thanks Berlioz!! I have been following your info on the Pirates League thread as well. I have an appointment there for us, but DS doesn't seem to keen on it, so I am thinking we might cancel that and save it for a future trip.

Anyone know how much the face painting is at AK? Might have to work it into our budget!

I think we paid around 12 for one and 14 for the other. Some might be a little less but that gives you an idea. This was last Oct so unless prices went up.

There is a place in DHS near Toy Story Mania.
In AK there is a spot near the Safari and a plac ein Dinoland.

We were there for 9 days at the beginning of May/June. DD got her face painted twice. One time with a heart swirly design and the other time with a unicorn. Both times it costs us $15. It does last awhile, but I'd advise against havign your child touch/wiping their face. If there is a smudge or some comes off, and you are still in the park, you can ask for touch-ups.

Designs range from $10-$20. Most are $15.

Can someone tell me if the makeup comes off if you sweat? DS sweats A TON when it's hot and humid and we are going in Sept. He would love to have his face painted but I'm not paying $15 for it to come off 10 sweaty min. later.:headache:
