I know, it's silly, but my girls think that having their faces painted is about as good as it gets. :rotfl:

One of my kindies came back from her Disney vacation with pictures of her with her face painted like a leopard mask. She said it was *free* (my favorite word irt Disney!), and at Animal Kingdom, but couldn't give me any specifics. After all, she's only 5 - LOL!

So, please can anyone give me a heads-up on where my girls can also look like leopards during our July Disney trip?

THANKS!

Most definitely not free - I think we paid $15 or so for a unicorn face-painting. It's in Dinoland, by the Triceratop Spin.

It was really good face paint - with a careful lack of bathing (my 3yos idea), the unicorn was mostly intact when we got home 3 days later.

I believe there is also a face painting location back by the safari. Good luck finding it and take lots of pictures! :yay:

Why, Harambe has a lovely face painting spot! LOL! IT is not free, but they have beautiful designs. DS was painted like a monkey and it was the funniest thing going. Of course, he went on Kali River Rapids, and paniced in the middle of the ride, worrying that he'd be blotted out by the end, but he was spared! My niece was a gorgeous butterfly, and I can't remember what DD was.

Anyway, it's right across from the fruit market.

we've also had face painting done at MGM and it looked like most of the designs were $12 -15.

I know I have pics of their faces being painted but danged if I can find them

My niece chose the snake (all those beautiful colors and patterns! And she chooses a SNAKE!) It was definitely in the $10-$20 range, but probably that depends how big the image is (some are just eyes, and others quite elaborate).

Even if there's a line, the artists work extremely quickly -- I actually found it fascinating to watch the people ahead of us being painted -- they're very skillful. We did it in Harambe somewhere.

My nephew had his face painted in MGM a few years ago -- that red/black Star Wars character mask. He immediately felt very itchy and washed it all off within minutes. No damage done, but keep in mind it can happen.

Saw lots of happy kids with beautiful designs, though. Certainly a much higher caliber job than I've seen at local face painting events.

MY DD got a full face tiger paint done at Epcot in 2005- I think it was $15. She looked really cool!!

Yep, definitely NOT free. My DD 9 got it done in Dinoland. It was $15. They had her whole face done in less than 5 minutes. It was really well done and VERY pretty. I don't know how to post pictures or I would show it.

No, it's not free, but it's really cool! The face painting artists do a WONDERFUL job! It's not your regular old city fair face painting believe me!

My niece had it done last trip and it was SO worth it! She felt so special and so many people told her how pretty she looked, it was worth every penny.

Just a thought though.......they have face painting at MK and Epcot too I see someone said and I think this trip we'll get it done at one of these instead of AK. It is hotter and more humid at AK, so I think it'll be a bit more comfortable wearing the paint around MK or Epcot.

Where is the face painting at Epcot?

My girls have their faces painted every trip at AK near KS - the cost is ~$15 each. They love doing this and really look forward to it.
