Per Disney’s website:

Beginning July 30, face coverings are required for all Guests (ages 2 and up) while indoors and in Disney buses, monorail and Disney Skyliner, regardless of vaccination status. This includes upon entering and throughout all attractions. Face coverings remain optional for all Guests in outdoor common areas.

So, I’m vaccinated and need a mask indoors and in attractions again, but this is acceptable outside…
Exactly. To me this just shows Disney doesn’t really care about the spread of covid but has to “do the right thing” for appearance sake. If they really cared, they’d shut down park reservations also immediately. But August is still wide open for all 4 parks. What a joke

Bingo

Not surprising, but will be very interesting to see if Disney actually gets more CM's in to help police this, because there will be a big need for it.

Well, if people had actually followed through in getting vaccinated then this backwards step wouldn’t have to be taken. The need for 75-80% of the population to be fully vaccinated was made painfully clear as a key hurdle to overcome before “normal” could be achieved.

Personally, I’m proud of Disney for bringing the indoor mask requirements back. They don’t want to find themselves back in a position of having to shut down, furlough staff again etc.
Agree 💯. I don’t blame Disney at all, it’s just unfortunate this is where we’re at despite having a widely available vaccine.

We have a trip the last week of August. Is this the same mask rules as the end of May this year when we were there? Specifically wondering about at what point in entering attraction lines will we be asked to mask up. In May, even though a lot of the line for 7 Dwarfs is outside for example, we were asked to mask up at the ride wait times sign.

Yeah, that's where I have a problem with it. Inside is one thing but outside queues and attractions....how's that different than walking around with crowds of people. No need for masks outside Disney!
