Since there was a request for warmth our first stop will be to Rotorua's most active geothermal reserve, Hells Gate & Wai Ora Spa is home to exploding waters, steaming fumaroles, pools of boiling mud and the largest hot waterfall in the Southern Hemisphere.

Since there was a request for warmth our first stop will be to Rotorua's most active geothermal reserve, Hells Gate & Wai Ora Spa is home to exploding waters, steaming fumaroles, pools of boiling mud and the largest hot waterfall in the Southern Hemisphere.

Pools of boiling mud? Can't get warmer than that!
