I go every year to this fest. I am from the Chicago area and it reminds me of the City Taste of Chicago. Around the World Showcase Lagoon there are placed something like 25 booths. In each of these booths a country is housed and offeres a local food as well as local wine or beer ( sometimes both ). The countries are not only ones that you will see in the World Showcase. ( examples: Greece, Argentina, Ireland ) The food usually starts around 2.00 a small sampling to about 5.00. The servings are in 'taste' sizes so you can sample many different foods. Some are good ol' favorites ( cheddar cheese soup ) to the unusual ( Manti ) Each year they also have a host display ( last year was Route 66 ) You can also purchase event tickets for special dinner packages, seminars, etc.
It is a lovely event and a great way to try new tastes without breaking the bank or feeling too bad if you don't care for something.
