F&W Festival - dates consistent year-to-year?

I am getting so frustrated because I want to nail down our October trip dates! Based on last year's dates, this year's F&WF should start on Friday, 9/30. Is that a good bet or does it take place entirely in October so opening would slip to Fri, 10/7? I need help from the DIS board veterans, pretty please! Thanks!

I heard that they announced the dates for next year and it will begin on Sept. 30th and you guessed.

Steve Soares has Sept 30-Nov 13 as this year's F&W Festival on his site.

Actually, last year they added 2 weeks to the beginning of Food and Wine Festival. It started the 1st week of Oct and ran through the 2nd w/e of November... making it the longest Food and Wine Festival ever at Epcot. We were thrilled because we stayed at the Poly the 1st week of Oct, and thought we would be missing it. We were very pleasently surprised and ended up going 2 days of our trip. Depending on their success (and I believe it was successful) the dates should be similar this year.

Just been informed it will begin on Sept 30 this year...woohoo!!!!
