F! Premium River Belle or Blue Bayou?

If you weren't lining up at 7pm for the 9pm Fantasmic viewing then you were far back in the line to get into the viewing area. If "no one" starts lining up 2 hours before Fantasmic, then what time do they start lining up in your experience? I'm asking seriously.

The first time I did it (RBT) I lined up 90 minutes early because I was worried about the reports of people lining up so early and we had a large group. They let us in about 75 minutes before showtime.

However… after we had our spot, I realized we could have VERY easily shown up 30-45 minutes early, even with our group of 10 and we would have been fine.

So the next time (also RBT), with a group of four, we went 30 minutes early. That time, we still would have been perfectly fine showing up 5-10 minutes before the show.

I have not done BB or Hungry Bear post-covid. Maybe they are overselling those sections? I have no idea. But there really isn’t a “bad” seat in any of those sections. Has anyone reported NOT being able to access the section if they showed up later? I can’t see how they could turn anyone away?

Interesting, maybe in December if we do Blue Bayou we'll try showing up later then. I just remember at like 7:45PM when they started letting people in the line was beyond Harbor Galley and going up the "hill" that goes past Splash Mountain when we looked back. Maybe the lines just look worse than it really is?

I don't think they turn people away necessarily, but I've seen people have to squeeze in last minute and others have to slide over which makes things uncomfortable all around when the section is full.

We lined up like 40 minutes before. Sat front and center. Had normal RBT package. I'm gonna be honest, I would never spend dining package money just to line up for 2 hrs. Might as well just camp out the bridge, it's free.

That is really good to know! We haven't done Fantasmic since before COVID, and we would definitely have had to get there much sooner. We didn't mind waiting the 2 hours, because it didn't feel like that long of waiting really. It was worth it to have a good seat.

I don't know if I could leave it until 40 minutes before, but maybe we could scope things out 1.5 hours before to see the line situation and then come back an hour before to line up.
