F!...Is it really worth the wait?

I am not a big show or fireworks girl and even I have to say F! is pretty cool. I just love the dragon!!! Saying that I am VERY bad we always walk up about 5 minutes before the show starts. We usually head to the bridge by POTC its not the closest spot but since you are above all the heads it works great for us. No matter what trick you use honestly it is a really great show!

off subject question for bluegrizzlies1....

New to this board, wondering how you get the "pirates of the caribbean" vacation counter at the bottom of your post?

As far as Fantasmic goes...I love it! I saw it for the first time last Nov. and can't wait till Sept. to see the revamped version. I would totally agree with all who suggested seeing the second show...it's worth it for everyone, then once you've seen it you can decide if it's something worth making time for again.

I'm a little confused by the original post.... as a WDW vet you've never seen F! at WDW??? Why not? There's a huge stadium with seating. You can walk up 20-30 minutes before the show and almost always get seating in the stadium. Is that why you haven't seen it there? Because you didn't want to go 30 minutes early?

Let me tell ya -- it is SO much easier to see F! at WDW than it is at DL. And while the DL show is far superior, the seating situation is horrible. A lot of it is standing room only. You're just standing in a sea of people. If you're short like me, you don't really see much. And if you have kids with you, they don't see a thing.

Yes, as a party of 2 you will have better luck just walking up close to show time and finding a standing area, but I don't think your view will be near as good as the WDW stadium.
