Hey All,

I am sitting comfortably... now I shall begin! hehe Ive been super busy hence the lack of info!

Okay... the basics WEDDING WISE

We have booked ... or nearly booked...

Our Invitations - They are complete! We are waiting
Our Venue - Lake Nona Golf and Country Club for May 22nd 2012
The time - 4PM! I know this picture is far away but you get the gist! Its beautiful!

This is the balcony where we will be getting married! Think two sections of white chairs!

This is the reception room which is totally straight from the balcony! Which is good!

The Catering - The catering is being done by the chef at Lake Nona - We are looking over sample menus to taste in October!

Florist - Botanica International - Ian and Brittany were absolutly brilliant! I will explain more below!

Cake - Sweet! By Good Golly Miss Holly - We are having 4 flavors per person and a small top tier for us to cut! Ian the florist is also doing some flowers for the top tier!

Photographer - We have found someone but have yet to meet! NU Vision - Stephanie sounded lovely on the phone... so when were in the US again in October we will be making a visit!

Officiant/Wedding Planner - Apperently, Lake Nona requires you to hire a wedding planner for the day, I think this is to make sure timings are met by all vendors!? The officiant ... Well Im hoping someone will be recommended to us by Ian - YES THIS MAN IS LIKE FRANC! he origionally lived in Scottland and has been in USA for 25 years. You can only imagine what his accent it like! lol His brilliant! My fav person so far!


We had an amazing trip - The weather was fantastic - However i need another holiday to get over the jet lag and planning! Was a great experience booking and meeting with people! The cake tasting was brilliant - Greg and I in total tried about 15 cupcakes! They were so good... we took away our half eaten ones and also brough a further 12 for our family that were with us! hehe They were so good!

Greg and I at the Ritz Carlton! Beautiful food - would recommend to anyone! We were celebrating!

We also went to SEAWORLD - MY FAV PLACE! We went to EPCOT for the Flower show and it was all very beautiful - We ate at the chinese resturant which was good! the same day we did EPCOT we went to Hollywood Studios - OMG we did most rides apart from Tower of Terror - The reason I dont have any pics is because we didnt take the camera here! Boo I know... I dont even think I have video footage! lol Geeks!

It really was a great vacation lol I mean Holiday! BTW... As gregs mum and dad have a house out in Orlando their next door neighbours threw us a 1 year anniversary party! omg was so cute... we even had a buffet and a cake to cut! It was a very special night!


I hope I have written enough and explained well... I will leave you all with a little (Big) picture of our baby... Sebastian! for somereason I havent introduced him before! We brought him as a kitten when we 1st moved intogether!

Hi Ladies,



Today I went to Leicester with my mum, Gregs mum AND my little sister! We had a lovely day... had lunch - Tea and Cake! lol Not the best wedding diet! oh well!

Went round loads of shops, and actually found a beautiful pair of shoes! they were a Karen Millen pair of nude pink, peep toe shoes, they were lovely - but a little bit too high, they also had a flower on the back at the side. They were lovely but... FAR too high! So... after that... we went for another cup of tea... no cake this time! lol

AND THEN.... on the way back to collections - We left something behind at one of the shops because it was too heavy for us to carry... anyway we went to the shoe section as mum was getting her heavy stuff... THERE THEY WERE! THE SHOES!!!! i tried them on... they fit like a glove! and they are the perfect height! YAY!

I just got back from a really lovely dinner with my 'Honary BM' hehe she is the sweetest!

She has found a poem to read at our wedding! I havent told Greg as I thought it would be a little surprise on the day. This poem she read me tonight and it made me cry!

Hey All,

I cant actually believe this... I wrote a MASSIVE post and then the computer crashed and now... NOTHING! I thought it may have saved but no! lol

So I have a few things to tell you! hehe but 1st our invites came today!!!! All the way from america!!! they are beautiful! and I cant wait to get them out tomorrow! Fingers crossed they only need one stamp, but its best to check! hehe they are beautiful! hehe

A food Question...

So, when we visited Orlando, May this year - The venue gave us some sample menus to look at and choose what we like. So basically we have about 6 menus, all different... and we have to choose what we like! Mix and Maatch! kind of thig!

So... your advice!!!!

Hot Hors D'oeuvres - (21 to choose from!!!!)
we like these...

* Mini Veal Oscar
* Coconut battered shrimp with Key lime Sauce
* Crab Ragoon with Teriyaki Sauce

(We only want one)

Starter

rock lobster tail, steamed and split served on the half shell with cocktail sauce and lemon garnish


Main

Fillet mignon with a port wine demi glace and Fresh Filit of Seabass

With

Sour cream and chive mashed potatoes and mix baby veg

Dessert!!!
WEDDING CAKE!!! hehe

Hey,

Well... the past couple of weeks have been quiet! NOT!!!! Que unrelated wedding stuff.....

I feel that I have neglected the boards... along with my PJ!

Partly due to general tiredness and a Job Application! Take 2! For those who arnt regulars - I applied for a permant teaching job at my supply school - but didnt get it. Only due to not fully having the right teaching qualification. (Its a long story really on that front - I am qualified to teach in a college but not in a school)

ANYWAY.... The application I made this time did get through - I got an interview and TODAY got the job! YAY me! So chuffed! Its a permant High Level Teaching Assistant - So i do all the cover teaching that needs to be done... and then all the nice bits with the kids!

WEDDING STUFF!

On monday this week DF and I found our Officiant!!!! Were so happy with him! He has come on a recomendation from Brandee Garr at BLUSH. And is totally brilliant! here is the company... http://www.sensational-ceremonies.com/ and here is LON... http://www.sensational-ceremonies.com/officiants/officiant-lon-tosi/ He is so lovely, he has already sent us through a TON of ideas for ceremonies, and different readings etc. He can do anything! and is so quick by email!

But I think you will agree, this is a turning point in the planning process! I had butterflies when I was reading all the vow's! So exciting! and I cant wait for DF to say them to me!!!!

Any way, I just got back from a hectic ZUMBA class and need a shower!
