We plan on the first showing of F! dessert seating which will be at 9:30pm according to the May disney calendar.

We wanted to eat dinner at Cafe Orleans (which is very close) but I also know we have to check in early at the F! podium and then line up early too.

When should I make our dinner reservations for?

I would do 1800, remember only 1 person has to check in and pick the assigned(you pick based on what is left).

I just looked at the calendar (as I have never seen them list a 930p first showing) and the calendar shows the normal 9pm first showing, and 1030p second showing. DOuble check you have the right times.

Sorry, I was going from memory - which is pretty bad right now with planning this trip (lots more than DL involved). You're right I just checked again and it's 9pm.

When I book dinner with a Dessert showing night I try and book 5-6p at the latest just for the fact that dinner is usually a lot of food and I want to leave PLENTY of room for dessert since there is SOOOOO much and SOOOO good! Last thing you want is to spend the money for Fantasmic and not be hungry enough to enjoy it!

Yeah, I thought of that. We will definitely be taking some back to the hotel frig. whether we ate a meal before or not. Too much on the dessert tray for one sitting!

Hopefully the frigs. at the DLH are large enough to fit the remains of two dessert trays? Probably we could combine the leftovers into one when we are done.

We did this as well. It really helps if you have some ziploc bags with you. They fit much better in the fridge without the big bulky tray.

...ore the plastic bags from the hotel ice bucket or laundry bags also work great for the Dessert doggy bag!

...or so I've heard...:rolleyes1

Good idea! We usually take extra ziploc bags that come in handy for all sorts of things. Maybe we'll need a gallon size for the remains of two dessert trays! :)
