F! check-in procedure - need clarification

I called and purchased the premier viewing for F!. The CM on the phone told me the show is at 9:00 and that I need to check in at the black podium at 8:00 to pick a table and then we would get our desserts and a choice of beverage. Awhile ago I was reading the F! superthread and thought I remebered that you had to check-in 2 times so now I am confused. Can someone please help this newbie out?

You only check in once. If he told you 8:00, then be in line at 7:30 (earlier if you want front row seats). As far as picking a table, that is new to me. Last summer we did the Premium seating and we lined up to pick our seats. Either way, we felt that it was money well spent. Have fun!

Check in is at 8. We usually get in line around 720 and are usually one of the firsts in line. Once you check in and pick your seats, you leave and come back about 830 to be seated. (We do the second show and come back at 1010 to be seated.) That is probably what gave you the idea of 2 check ins. And there are no tables, just seats.

I plan to purchase F! dessert seating for my trip in May. I thought I read in another post that you need to pick-up tickets before checking in at the podium to get seat assignment. If that is true, where do you do that? City Hall? Thanks.

Yes, you pick up tickets prior to that. You can get them at Guest Services outside the park (left of the Disneyland turnstiles) or at any ticket booth, or at City Hall. Just find the shortest line. I believe you can also do it at Guest Services in DCA. We haven't done it there, but have at all the other locations.

We picked ours up at the resort hotel when we checked in, they were waiting for us.
