I love this scene, one of my favorites in the movie of him. The smile and smirk on his face as he has Elizabeth redress him is wonderful. the "Easy on the goods..darlin" line is one of my favorites....

I can see poor Mr Schultz having to get up there and dance in front of everyone on his birthday..I am sure it was not his thing, since he is shy..

My DH has his birthday at WDW end of August, he turned 52 and I too racked my brain for something special to do. Well, his gift from me was we stayed on site at POP and did the free dining thing which he loved last year. I let him pick what restaurant we ate at and believe it or not he chose Liberty Tree Tavern as he likes the food... I just kinda let him pick what we did the whole day, it was our first day there and first thing he wanted to do was the new POTC (I sure do love that man), and we saw the Captain Jack show. He rode all his favorite rides and we went to AK so he could ride Everest and pronounced it one great b-day!!! He did thank me for not telling anyone at the parks or at dinner it was his day..he too is very shy and will not talk till you talk to him...

Isn't it funny that all of us are married to quiet, shy guys. That's great that he chose to do POTC at MK first. I think my DH is going to try to steer me away from the pirate tutorial certainly, if not the ride itself.LOL. Glad your DH had a good b-day, it sounds like it was fun. Also, glad your son had a safe return and a good first day back with family. We'll forgive him for having beer instead of rum. Glad to hear you "kept to the code"

we saw the Capt in the parade-- DH said he was "tethered" to the top of the float, maybe so that his stumbling can be more "real"- I guess guys look for ropes, us gals look at the Capt!

I love Barbosa's line where he talks about the curse "For too long..." they made a voice tone of that for cell phones, but took out the part about their lust

No pics to share this morning, but great news....our Captain will be sticking around the parks for at least another year.

On this thread on the Disneyland board someone posted a scan of a cast member information sheet on the new Dreams promotion. It states that the pirates that invaded this summer will be staying. Even though this is specific to DL, I've got to believe that they will stick around WDW too.


Oh and whoever mentioned the scene where Will get whipped, yeah, I thought that was hot too. Thought I was the only one.

Great news!!! And no you were definitely NOT the only one who thought that scene was hot. Like I said before on here, I had never looked at Orlando/Will in that way before. He just seemed like a kid to me in the first one. But all that changed in that one movie scene. Can't wait for POTC3.

hmmmmm? Dream promotion....Mr Depp??? Do you think they will honor ANY dream??....well, as long as it takes place in the castle I guess!

It is funny they are all shy guys, guess we pirate wenches are the type to do all the talking. I hope your DH does not try and steer you too far away from POTC, he will enjoy the changes on the ride and Tutorial is very funny, if you get the right Captain acting the part that is....

Yes I ALWAYS keep to the code, and have always liked RUM, so that is what makes me a good pirate wench....

DS did get a kick out of my Captain poster and all my Captain Jack wallpapers I have on my computer now. He said I need a "Support Group", I told him I have one here on the DIS....
