Ugh! I hit a deer on my way home tonight and feel terrible. I live right where the south burbs of Chicago start turning into farm land, and the road from the train station is kinda rural-ish, with prime deer hitting potential. Up until now I never had a run in with one, but this was a doozy. My front right corner is all bashed in, the hood is wrinkled in, and you can see where the hooves dented on the side and hood. I panicked and drove for a half a mile while on the phone with my mom, too terrified to get out and face that poor deer, crying like a maniac and wanting to puke. What a crappy day. I feel so bad for hitting that poor deer. Rum. Must have rum. And plenty of this....

Oh I am so sorry to hear this happened..... They jump out and often there is just no avoiding hitting them... Sorry your car is damaged, for smallish animals they can cause a lot of car damage...

I hope you feel better, I'v been in a car when my mom hit a deer, she cried and it was just horrible. Drink lots of rum and take the Capt. for the night, he'll make you feel better

Now that I've relaxed and caught up, time for the question of the day...Never been off the continent, but hoping to remedy that within the coming years. One day I will win the lotto and travel the world. I want to see historic sites, visit museums, and and also see the countries my ancestors are from. I would looove to go to England. I know I'm about a quarter British, but don't know the details. (I'm part Cherokee too like Mr. Depp!) I'd like to do some research on all that. Maybe I should start in London.....Oh Orlaaaando!

Aww, I kinda like the mohawk. Of course, my first boyfriend had a blue one when we first started dating. My parents were thrilled! (We're still good friends now, and my parents actually liked him...once we broke up)
