Although something got lost in translation with our MNSSHP meet and I didn't get to meet Sherrie, I did meet another wench who lurks on this thread. I forgot to ask her her name though(she recognized me from my picture). Anyway, we had a great time, it's nice to be back home though.

Welcome back, sorry the meet up with Sherrie did not happen but glad you both had great fun....

Hard to summarize..but will give it a try

We have new Pirate Wenches in Waiting started by Catycatcat4..they are the high schoolers and younger group who post here..They drink root beer and are waiting to be old enough to be regular wenches...

Got2Travel is going on another weekend trip to Disneyland this weekend, solo trip and will have a blast we know.

Everyone made new sigs so we are not all using the same sig, including me. It was too hard telling people apart when we all had the same one.

We have been talking about Halloween costumes and CaptainJackObsessed made a neat Captain Jack doll which she posted photos of though it is not done yet.

There have been lots of new Captain jack and Mr Depp videos posted on youtube, so we have watching a lot of them lately.

And as usual we have been eyeballin the Captain and Will, drinkin a lot of RUM and making comments about the photos..usual wench stuff.

Catch up on the older pages when you get a chance, lots of great photos on there we found some new ones.

Believe it or not i've been to Tortuga - when i lived in the FLA Keys it was a popular weekend excursion - and my dad is a charter boat Capt. so we would go out with clients. Interesting factoids: Tortuga (or Dry Tortuga as it's called now) was once a pirate hangout, and during the Civil War, a prison. the Dr. who treated John Wilkes Booth was sentanced there for being a traitor. Also, there is NO fresh water there.Which is why its called Dry. When it was a pirate hangout, everyone was drunk all the time becasue it was cheaper to import booze than water, and it kept longer.

I've met several celebrities: I met Paul Stanley on an airplane once when i was 13 - i was traveling alone and got moved up to 1st class so the stews could keep an eye on me. I was seated next to him. He was very nice and really polite. I also have met the guys in Bon Jovi a number of times. My dad used to live with a woman who's daughter is married to keyboardist David Bryan. He was at our house several times and is super nice. Ive also met all the other guys many times, and ive also met the lead singer of Skid Row - he was a jerk, but he was drugged out then, don't know about now. JBJ was just meh - kind of puffed up. I'm not even a fan of those bands!
