Hey how was yur trip? I guess you saw from the other thread that I thought we were supposed to meet at Casey's, so that's where we were. DUH!!! Guess I had to much rum on this vacation. Did you see the pirate tutorial. I saw it, but it wasn't Jack #2. I'll post pic tomorrow.

Believe it or not i've been to Tortuga - when i lived in the FLA Keys it was a popular weekend excursion - and my dad is a charter boat Capt. so we would go out with clients. Interesting factoids: Tortuga (or Dry Tortuga as it's called now) was once a pirate hangout, and during the Civil War, a prison. the Dr. who treated John Wilkes Booth was sentanced there for being a traitor. Also, there is NO fresh water there.Which is why its called Dry. When it was a pirate hangout, everyone was drunk all the time becasue it was cheaper to import booze than water, and it kept longer.

I've met several celebrities: I met Paul Stanley on an airplane once when i was 13 - i was traveling alone and got moved up to 1st class so the stews could keep an eye on me. I was seated next to him. He was very nice and really polite. I also have met the guys in Bon Jovi a number of times. My dad used to live with a woman who's daughter is married to keyboardist David Bryan. He was at our house several times and is super nice. Ive also met all the other guys many times, and ive also met the lead singer of Skid Row - he was a jerk, but he was drugged out then, don't know about now. JBJ was just meh - kind of puffed up. I'm not even a fan of those bands!

Yes i did see the pirate tutorial and it was #2. We had fun, we got dream FP's at MGM. Saw the HH at MNSSHP, and the Capt on the float tipped his hat to me and blew me a kiss, i almost
We didnt get to see a lot of stuff, no one wanted to talk about the plan when i was doing it, but then complained about every choice i made. As a result DD never got to meet any princesses we never even got to Futureworld at MK! But overall everyone had fun and it went by so fast!

I am in serious WDW withdrawal and am secretly plotting another trip to use my AP.

Maybe in May to try and catch Capt Sparrow for the premiere.....

I just bought the fabric for his shirt yesturday, should have him all done by Tuesday, just it time for Halloween. He's going to my old Highschool that day, I have to showcase him to all my old teachers who know I make dolls. I promise once he is done, there will be more pics. The one day I took him to class with me, he sat out in the chair next to me during my german test and I got a 90% on it!!! But people kept giving me odd looks, only because they know how much I love Johnny Depp and the Captain. I guess I never stop talking about them in class

DH and I went to downtown disney. while standing in line at the comedy warehouse, they pulled us out of line gave us honarary WDW citizen buttons and gave us front row seats, with drinks and popcorn. Then at MNSSHP, while waiting to ride the carousel, they took my DD4 and declared her an honarary princess in front of the whole line and took her to "cinderella's favorite horse"(the one with the gold ribbon on the tail). She was so happy. She kept making us call her princess Sydney. I had on your necklace at MNSSHP too. Our trip seemed to go by fast too. How cool that Captain Jack blew you a kiss. I don't think we are going back until 2008. We want to plan a grand gathering so we need time to get everyone ready to go.
