Extreme Makeover tonight

I thought it was cool, the Extreme Makeover home edition on tonight is close to me. Riviera Beach is about 15 miles north us of. It's kind of a poor part of town, run down and lots of police action. The last part is part of the reason we didn't go up there during the taping, the other part is because we didn't hear about it until the 2nd to last day.

The father's story is so sad, they are very deserving of the new house. Small problem though, my husband said they are in the works of tearing down most of Riviera Beach and rebuilding it. I hope not to see all this work go to waste!

I think non Hodgkins Lymphoma

I just finished watching it. I believe he had t-cell lymphoma (I think that's what they said). It is an rare and agressive form of cancer and incurable based on what was said. I was so thrilled to see he made it home to the house. I was so worried that the outcome wasn't going to go that way. I wish them many happy days in their new, safe home. I hope they all get an opportunity to create many new memories. What they gave Dunston was so much more than a home for his children.

What a great episode and I'm glad I had the tissue box right next to me!
