Evening all,
Our friends have just been over and we have been looking at where to eat for the candlelight processional package. We were going to eat at Tepanyakki but decided to change to Alfredo di Roma (my friend who we are going with has food allergies and she seems to have a wider choice there.) I am really happy about this as I love Italian food and we never go to Italian restaurants with them as my friend can not eat gluten products.
So have any of you eaten there before? Does anyone have any comments about the place?

Oh we named our bunnies this evening. We were trying to think of girl pairs or duos. In the end our friends came up with a suggestion which seemed quite fitting as Pete and I are musicians. We called them Roxy and Velma after the 2 girls in the movie Chicago.
:paw:
Cute bunny names.

NC B. and I ate at Alfredo's on our honeymoon back in 1996. The tables are real close :crowded: , but that didn't bother us much because we ate there at noon time just before the crowds. I remember the portions were big then and good---however, it has been 9 years. I think that I had the fettucine alfredo and NC B. had ravoli. You may be able to contact the chefs beforehand if allergies are a big problem.

Good evening everyone - I'm just stopping by to say that the delivery truck will be stopping by tomorrow to deliver some fresh M&M's for the M&M pool. We haven't had almond M&M's for awhile, so I ordered those - ENJOY!!!

s&k'smom - I got yours low fat & low carb because I know you are on your diet. ;)

So, what is everyone doing today? Tonight we are a taking a good friend out to dinner and a movie for his birthday. We are going to go to a pizza place and eat in the bar and then we are going to go see a Rated R movie - can you tell my girls won't be with me. We have not done this with him since before Stephanie was born - we are going to have lots of fun!!!

s&k'smom - I'm glad you like the almond M&M's - enjoy them!!!

Danauk - Roxy and Velma are very fun names for your new bunnies. I had a bunny once and his name was Thumper (how origianl :) ) I was not married and still living with my parents when I had him - he was a cute little bunny.

DHSsenior007 - have fun shopping - I love shopping too!!!

geffric - I am enjoying the nice weather, but we better not get to used to it because it's going to be hot again by the middle of the week :sunny: Let us know how Great America was!!

ohanafamily, NC Belle, 39CINDERELLA & ibouncetoo - HI!!! :wave2:

Alright, I got to run and get some things done - talk to you all later!!!

Good Morning every one!!!!!!!

I love the Bunny names, I must have been posting at the same time.

:jumping2:

Morning all! I told myself I can't leave the house or eat until I CLEAN SOMETHING! So, if you hear of a lady in Phoenix, found starved to death in a dirty house, that would be me ::yes::

Oh, that extra money I mentioned for yesterday's paycheck......$250 YEAH! Disneyland is covered! :cool1: (there was even retroactive overtime).

Hope you all have a good weekend, I'm taking a dip in the M&M pool, then I'm off to clean toilets.....what fun!

Thanks slo baby, that picture is so beautiful!!!!!

Howdy everyone!!!!

If you can't tell, I have been a little busy at work. My e-mail server sort of blew itself up on Friday. Very Little Dis time. I think I finally got a handle on it; went to lunch with DW and DS while the computer was on auto Defragment the file. Came back to work when it should have been completed... Since no one else is around, I had brought Nephosaurus with me...Did I mention that we had a rain storm with thunder and lightning this afternoon...Well, the workstation that I was using to hold all of my temporary files had shut off...Panic attack. I checked the mail server, and there was a notice: Database defragmented and file successfully copied...WHEW!!!!!!!!! (note to self, install UPS on my workstation)

Nephosaurus is looking at the e-mail server in an attempt to find some Chocolate, I think I will do a little cleanup work and go home in an hour or so... I don't have to spend all day here tomorrow!!!!! Yippee!!!!1

My apologies if I have been distracted...

:jumping2:

Morning everyone!

Yesterday was a bunch of fun! But man, $200 sure does go fast! LOL! Thankfully, I shopped at the clearance aisles and whatnot (hey, it's still cute stuff!) and I got like, 4 pairs of jeans, 5 shirts, one jacket and one long sleeve shirt. I also got a pair of shoes, but those weren't included in the original budget, so those came out of my allowance. But yeah, I'm pretty set for the beginning of school at least!

After dinner, a friend and I went and saw "Bad News Bears." Wow, I know it was a remake, I've never seen the original, but I hope it wasn't like this one. They said another word for poo at least once every other sentence. We were shocked that there were kids in the audience. I'm glad that I didn't have to pay for it; my friend works at the theatre, so she got us in free! Yeah, so I definitely do NOT recommend that movie! Unless you like cussing, weak story lines, and bad humor, you wouldn't like it. Afterwards though, we went to Coldstone Creamery and got some ice cream, heard the employees sing (I was friends with one of them, I couldn't pass up the chance!), and walked around eating our ice cream because we didn't want to go home!

Anyway, I just got finished getting ready for church, but I still have to go and brush my teeth!

Have a great day!

Good morning everyone.

Slo - An adult movie without kids? What is that...

This weekend has gone by way too fast, and it is not like we had a busy one.

We did try and take the girls to March of the Penguins. Notice I said TRY. I think my DD4 (will be 5 in Oct) would have been fine (she would be a couch potato, TV kid if left to her own devices). However my DD2 (she turned two in March) was not very well behaved (think parent leaving the theatre multiple times with a screaming kid - one time my DH says people were actually laughing because she was saying/screaming "No Mommy, I want walk by myself holding onto the rail"). I did not hear any laughter due to my sprint with a screaming kid and the general embarassment.

My oldest is already asking to go back and see it again. Right now the answer is "never will you children be allowed in a theatre again" - Okay that is not what we are SAYING it is just what we are THINKING. If the baby stood up and started to walk around then my oldest would stand too.

I think we have decided that for at least the next 6-months to a year we will only take my oldest to movies/theatre productions. My oldest was fine when she and I went to the Lion King Musical in February. She was a perfect young lady. She barely talked, and when she did it was in a proper hushed voice.

Just get the two together and they behave like two year olds. It is the same when you go shopping.

I hope everyone had a great weekend.

Hi everyone - we just got out of the pool and now I'm feeding BabyKate her lunch. Then she's taking a nap and back into the pool I go :Pinkbounc .

Last night was alot of fun. We when to Pizzeria Uno for dinner and ate in the bar, which was great. The pizza there is absolutly awesome!!!

Then we went to a 9:30pm show and we saw the Wedding Crashers
09m.jpg

The movie was very funny and I realized that 9:30pm shows are just to late for me. My body is not acclamated to staying up that late anymore :)

Anyway - we had a great time!!!!

BlueBayou - my mom and Stephanie just went and saw that Penquin movie and they really liked it. I understand your frustration with your 2 year old - my 2 year old is the same way. I don't think she will be able to go to the movie theater until she's about 7 ;)

DHSsenior007 - I'm glad you had fun shopping - it's really great when you can find some bargains!! :) I have also heard bad things about the Bad News Bears movie - one person I know said that it should be rated R.

s&k'smom - HI!!

ohanafamily - I'm sorry you've been so busy at work - we've missed you around here!!! How's your family doing? That picture of TagBabyIan was to cute - he's turning into a very handsome little boy. :)

ibouncetoo - I'm glad for you that your DL vacation is covered - now you have one less thing to worry about and you can spend more time looking forward to your vacation. :)

Okay, I'm going to go now and float in my pool - I got to keep this tan going!!
Talk to you all later!!

Good evening everyone (well it is evening here!) I agree the weekend has gone by far too quickly. I had another long day at the theatre today but the rehearsals went well. This evening Pete is installing roof vents into our garden room roof (the roof is see through so it can get very hot in their.) This week we plan to do a bit more house work (we are clearing out our loft!!) and then I need to paint my spare room. I have chosen a lilac colour which is really nice.

Right now I am bunny sitting as Roxy and Velma are having some house time. We are slowly trying to introduce them to Holly but she wants to play and chase them but they are too small!!

The pain the pain, I just wrote some checks and am now mourning the loss of my checkbook funds!

Okay, a funny 2-year-old story.

She was tired but not wanting to nap today. We just left the girls to play in their bedroom until they wore themselves out.

When my husband finally got around to checking on them the baby was asleep, completely naked.

....did I mention she is only daytime (not naptime or nighttime) pottytrained.

Sher

Oh that is a funny story. I forgot to put a diaper on DD when she was little and yup left me a present.

Good morning all, gonna be hot today. Had a very nice weekend, lots of beach time.

I can relate to this because my 2yr old loves to undress herself. It amazes me how quick she can take her diaper off!!! Was she on the floor or on her bed? I one time checked on my 2 yr old and found her sleeping on the floor - I felt bad, but then thought "my floor are clean!!" :teeth:

Those bunnies sound like they are so sweet. You should take a picture of them next to Holly to show their small size before they grow more - that is if they will let you. :)

Alright, I gotta go and watch the news - more Peter Jennings has died :guilty: Talk to you all later!!!

Oh yeah, it was the bed. At least I had a matress pad on it.

On a positive note, she did not have a single accident all weekend long. I don't count the peeing in the bed because she is not sleep potty trained yet.

My oldest sometimes pulls her pillow, blankets and stuffed animals onto the floor and sleeps there. We have laminate floors in their room, so it can't be too comfortable.

Hi all,
Today has been spent doing more jobs around the house. We completely emptied the loft and sorted all the stuff out. Now through we have all the stuff that we want to keep in the spare room (which we have only just managed to close the door on) and all the rubbish in the garage (we are going to hire a skip tomorrow to put it in.) Pete has just started to put the boards down in the loft so we can walk up there (instead of having to balance on the beams like we had to do before!). Hopefully he will get that finished tomorrow and then we have to put all the stuff we want to keep back up there!! But then I get to do the fun stuff and re decorate the spare room.

Oh well, I guess I should get back to it. I need to carry the roofing boards from the garage up stairs so Pete can put them in the loft.
