I'm leaning towards concierge at the moment. Do any of you know what the view is like from the concierge lounge? Also it says there is a 5th floor patio for concierge guests, what is the view like from there? The breakfast in the morning would be great and we do always take an afternoon break so it would be nice to have a swim and then a relax in the lounge before heading back out to the park. Oh and the glass of wine before heading down to dinner is apealing too!!

We stayed at the GC for the first time in October. Room 5128 to be exact. Not concierge but it faced the monorail courtyard. We loved the view. Very peaceful. There is a patio where you can view the park if you would like. I say go for concierge!

Danauk - We never stayed concierge where you are staying, but we have stayed concierge in WDW, and we loved it If you believe you will use your money's worth, than I would do it

DanaUK, I'd say concierge too. I've had both views and one of the park views faces the Paradise Pier area and is a GREAT VIEW...BUT I don't know where they will be in the construction of the DVC extension, which will be right in that area. I've always said concierege is worth the $$ if there are four people in the room. Heading back to your hotel for a 'happy hour' wine and snacks break is nowhere near the time consuming event it is at WDW, so you'd be more likely to enjoy that at DLR than you would as a WDW commando style park-goer. It's also nice to pop in before you head to the park and grab a bottle of water

Ooh I hadn't thought of the possibility of DVC construction affecting the view. Has DVC at DL been officially announced yet? I had heard rumours but nothing definate. I can't believe our friends have given us the option to go concierge, after all they are using their points to pay for it! We will definately have to treat them when we meet in Vegas!!

I am about ready to scream this afternoon over some clothes I ordered off the internet. There is a store I like called Monsoon, however we don't have one near me, the closest is just over an hour away. On Friday I saw a dress and some shoes I wanted on their website so I ordered them. There was a top I wanted too, but they didn't have that in my size. The next day I noticed the top was back in stock in my size so I ordered that too. Once I had clicked order I realised that I hadn't changed the delivery address (I usually get things delivered to work) so I phoned the help line. The girl told me she didn't know how to change the delivery address but she would refund the item and I could then re order it to the correct address. I got an email saying my card would be refunded whilst I was on the phone to her so I re ordred the item straight away. So skip to this morning, yesterday I got confirmation that all the items had been dispatched (including the one that was cancelled!). So I phone them up and they said they would contact the van driver and tell him not to deliver the item. Skip forward 3 hours, I get another email saying the dress from the 1st order is out of stock and they have refunded me. This is the same item that I was told had been dispatched this morning and was aready on the van!! So I phoned them up again to be told the dress wasn't on its way but the shoes were (I hope you are still all following this story at this point!!) So now they are trying to find the dress in store to get a store to ship it to me (even though it is still listed as in stock on their website, aparently that is a technical glitch!) So now I am waiting in to see if any items arrive today or not. I really need to go out to the shops but can't just in case something turns up!!!! I really could scream!!! It's a good job I don't actually need the dress in a hurry!

Update: I so knew this would happen!! They sent my clothes to my school, which is shut!! I usually get stuff sent to school as that is where I am during the week. I selected my home address for this delivery and even phoned to make sure they would send it to my home (even the confirmation email stated my home as the delivery address!) but no, my clothes are now stuck in a lorry somewhere!! So now I have to phone the delivery company tomorrow to get them to put the stuff on a different truck (my post code is NN17 and schools is NN18 so the stuff was put on different trucks even though my school is 5 mins from my house!!) I really could scream right now!!

Kevin wasn't to excited about what I was going to make for dinner tonight (the leftovers from our Italian dinner this weekend), so now he is getting us takeout Which is okay with me, because now I don't have to cook on this Valentine's Day

So, now I'm waiting for that takeout He was just about to go get it when his fire dept pager went off for someone that fell on the ice. So now I have to wait until he's done with his call to go get the food. I hope it doesn't take to long - I'm hungry!!!!!

and I'm back to work

I have to admit - I really enjoyed us all home the last couple of days.
