Hey guys,
DHSsenior I haven't seen you around for a while but have been thinking about you. How did all the stuff with your mums job turn out? Are you moving or staying where you are? Are you excited about your Christmas trip. I can't believe we will be there in a months time. It seems that as we booked the trip so long ago the fact that I will be in WDW in a month doesn't seem real to me!!

Hey, and yeah, I know what you mean about our Christmas trips! I'm so excited!! I've been doing all the organizing for the trip, so I'm kinda nervous, but I'm not going to go totally crazy, so we'll see how it turns out! My mom took that job in Houston, and she already has an apartment down there and everything, so that's official. I'm staying here with my dad and brother (he's moving back home on Wednesday due to his college suitemates...) until I graduate. My mom will come and visit every weekend, or we'll go there, so it will work. I've been thinking about it a lot, and I know it's going to be really hard, but what doesn't kill us only makes us stronger, right? So yeah... I just know the upcoming WDW trip is going to be really bittersweet, since it will be just before she moves and everything.

Anyway, thanks for asking! I really appreciate it! I've been having a really hard time and it's good to know some complete strangers AKA Crazy Ax Murderers care! ;)

So what is your plan for your trip? If you've already posted it, I'm sorry I missed it!

We took the girls to see Chicken Little yesterday and the movie on a scale of 1 - 10 for me is a 7. BabyKate did great at her first movie - at times she had ants-in-the-pants bouncing between her seat and my lap, but outside of that, she did great.
I am so glad that BabyKate did well at Chicken Little. We took our girls to see Wallace and Gromit (My husband is a fan and has a DVD of the shorts, so my girls are more familar with it and it appeals to them more than normal little girls). They did fine except Elise asking to go to the bathroom 4 times and then telling me she didn't need to go as soon as we got out of the theatre. Other than that she did great.

Good morning everyone!! :sunny:

It's a short work week this week and I'm pretty excited about it!! :cool1:

geffric - very nice pictures of you, ibouncetoo, and your son - you all look like you are having a good time

DHSsenior007 - that's great that you can stay at your highschool until you graduate - that way you can be with your friends. It sounds like you have wonderful parents!!! :flower:

BlueBayou - I can't remember, is Elise the same age as Katie? - Katie is 27 months old. I'm glad you had a nice time at the movie too - I expected to spend some time out in the lobby but I made sure Katie had an empty stomach when we went and then gave her a childs popcorn (she loves popcorn). If it weren't for the popcorn, I think she would have gotten bored - thank goodness she likes to eat ;)

To all other TAGLIKINS - Hi!! :wave2:

Well, I better run and get ready for work - have a good day everyone!!

What beautiful ladies in whose presence I do write!

Hey, HP GOF people, I LOVED the movie, but I have two notes of ponderances and need your opinions on, and no, this should not blow anything for anyone.

1) I read an interview with Daniel and he noted that he was excited to play out some of the teen angst and anger in the books in this next movie - well, I actually was disapointed in how little of that angst they showed or evoked in him and how much they hit you over the head with it with Emma and Rupert. I hated how Harry sat there silent through a lot of it. I didn't read it that way at all. Maybe its because Daniel Radclife is getting so suave and handsome, it came off as weird that he would be going through angst at all.

2) This one may be for danauk more so than anyone else, but did you get a better feeling about Public Schools in England in this film than in the last few. The reviews had noted that because this director was actually British he could evoke the life of a public school better than anyone else. I, being a boarding school girl, did not think he did any better of a job of it than any of the other directors simply because the film was so chocked full of story line that it left very little time to develop anything else. What did you guys think?

NCBelle - definately not for younguns (there is a very vivid and graphic scene of death and they show the body at length) - also I am a purist, so I would say, take a moment to watch the last movies and then see this one. There is a big jump in their maturity levels in this one and its helpful to build up to it through the movies if not the books.

Good morning all ya taggiepoo's and tagaroo's!!!!

All ya lucky ducks a traveling all places Disney: Ya luckey ducks!!! Have fun and be safe...

As far as angst duing HP:....uh....didn't really see as much angst on screen as I felt reading the book....but let's face it...book way longum..what was it over 400 pages??? It's been awhile, so don't remember the exact number of pages, and the screenplay pages for movie was I think 174...so you know what that means....great big skippums!!!! I kinda missed not having any of the Harry's "family" to torture like in other movies...I mean they would usually show a little of the Dursley's either before or after the school year....The good thing about having the book so long was all of the extra details that we got to learn...just never seems to translate to the movie though...on the other hand...I never think the movie is as good as the book for the most part.

Hubby went to a boarding school in England for awhile...said it was god-awful dreadful...hated almost every moment of it. I do not think it is necessarily because it was in England though, gave him fabulous education, would have hated it just as much in America I think. It was more about the boarding is what Ima tryin to say.

With family more scattered hither and yon than normal this year, we decided to use our Cowboy tickets....normally give them up and go to Tyler. So I will be cheating a little this Thanksgiving...good lordy loo...first stealing...now cheating....who have you people let in this group anyway... Since it is hard to baste from Texas Stadium :rolleyes1 ...I bought a fully cooked, smoked turkey yesterday. There goes my homemaker of the year award again I guess. Just needs to be thawed, carved, and heated. I will still make the sides though. Oopsie....bought a pecan pie....more cheatalations~~ :smooth: ..hope you guys will still talk to me....

Actually what it boils down to this year is this...last few months, moocho, mucho more stressful than normal this time of year, and so we just decided to try and take some of the biggest stress out of the day. So for me, the pressure is off alot on the cooking, and for Timzie Goo Goo.how much does he LOVE that nickname???..he doesn't have to stress himself out in traffic, and deal with some other stuff...

Have great day EVERYONE

Mrs. Tenorsinging I am the guardian of my chocolate hoard of Wonkas, and since ohanafamily vouched for you, you are welcome to have as much as you like(y) of the (mmmm goodylicious)Chocolate. I must warn you that taking offerings to the TAG FAIRY is quite the dangerous concept.

(BTW, you were caught on video sneaking into the vault, but when you were added to the color wheel, your biometrics were added to the security system granting you access. The Lasers and other lethal protective systems were disarmed (or at least that is what the alarm manual says))

Hi all, I forgot to mention that TagBabyIan had a major milestone... We went to SAM'S for part of our DADDY time, and one of the samples was of "Potato Buds". It even had a spoon his size!!!!!!! So he had his first food sample in the cart at SAM'S yrsterday!!!!!

Just thought you all would apreciate it, Esp given the season...

Geffric , Great pictures! NC Beast is jealous of your E:E pics---a lot changed from our visit and yours.

Ohana-- if we do DVC again... BCV and VWL are tied for our first picks. We wouldn't mind BWV. The guy who rented us the points did a great job. I don't know if we will do October again.

We are not doing Harry Potter because I forgot that the boys may have dates so I have to wait and see what they want to do if they have free time. Last year, we only had like an hour or two during the family pre-Christmas party with them (it was their Mom's weekend).

Good morning everyone - The Polar Express comes out today!!! :) :) I can hardly wait to get my copy - I loved this movie!!!

ibouncetoo - I love the picture of you and geffric. You guys really look like you are having a good time. :)

ohanafamily - I'm curious about how you and RRBB liked the van? Did Robin pick out a color? Also, what a cute little story about you and TagBabyIan at Sam's Club - it's always fun to reach new milestones with our children :flower:

To all other TAGLIKINS - Hi!!! :wave2:

Have a good day everyone!!

Morning kids!

Lynne don't fret about taking some 'shortcuts' for Turkey day dinner. If it frees up time to spend with friends/family, it's all good! ::yes::

We usually hit a resort for Thanksgiving buffet, but this year, since sister has a beautiful, newly landscaped yard with built in BBQ grill....well, we're going totally non-traditional and cooking out that day. (I'm voting for beef tenderloin, but we'll see what's on sale tomorrow.) I'll probably pick up a bird when shopping, as they are such a $value, but won't cook it till Sunday. ANybody who's in the cold and snow is welcome to come on down. Oh, you'll love this....Saturday sister TiggersPal JUMPED IN THE POOL, just to break her record for how late in the year she swam!!! Water temp was 56 degrees.

OK, must get ready for work....only two more days then a lovely four day weekend (one of rest/three of major househould purging and some moving watching). Oh, movies. HP:GOF, loved it. I'm betting a lot of the teen angst that was shot is sitting on the cutting room floor. And talk about angst, the next movie should be riddled with it (wasn't a good year for poor Harry).

Good morning all, How about Chick-filet Mini's for Breakfast!!!!!

slo, We loved the van, We liked the Dark Blue. They didn't have one in stock, so we will have to wait for one to be made. I am getting it loaded beacause RRBB wants the rear video that only comes with the navigation system. (also, since you actually talk to the navigation system she is getting a car that will do more than I will at times...Listen to her :rotfl2: (OK, I really always listen to her, if for no other reason than self preservation)) RRBB actually liked the light blue, but it only comes in a black interior (BIG NO NO in the Texas Heat), I liked the dark blue better.

NC Belle, Yes, VWL is great. I just booked next October (Pre-DVC Member Cruise) at the BCV. This way we can use the tail end of our AP's... I like the parking lot and the walk into EPCOT.

Tenorsinging, We have lots of Dis-meets in Dallas, usually they wind up near DFW Airport, or Arlington... WebmasterKathy lives here and she likes get-togethers. We will probably have a meet in Dec or Jan. As for the color wheel, Once you see how too use it, it will make sense. You are definitely smarter than it... Oh, and I think you misquoted Nephosaurus...

I will let him speak for himself, but I think he was speaking about taking other peoples offerings...
