okay..i cried my eyes out...im such a sap and the whole house was amazing..i cant believe they all got their own rooms....that bathroom for the girls was amazing!!...cried when the showed the doves and the wall with all of the papers..the back yard was soo cool too!...i cant believe that the mortgage is paid off..thats amazing!!
this episode was great i thought...and ty without his shirt was not bad either!!

It's not on here for a few more hours - I can't wait! I had to work on the afternoon of the reveal, but I was seriously considering going! I guess the fund-raiser that took place on the weekend that they were working brought in quite a bit of $$$! It was an unusually hot week, so I figured Ty would take off his shirt! One of the teachers I work with said this took place around the corner from her house and she said the only annoyance was the big trucks coming to a screeching stop at a stop sign near her house. She actually enjoyed the bullhorn noise! Those kids made the papers long before "Extreme House Makeover" - the circumstances were so unusual. The community came together to help them as best they could - but it was like a band-aid when they needed a huge tourniquet!

I never miss this show! My favorite episode was the one featuring Sweet Alice Harris. I loved the goth room and the purple room. That family deserved everything they got.

That was a cool show and I loved the magical gathering at WDW. The show is done by ABC and ABC is owned by Disney so why didn't they put them up in a Disney hotel? Awesome show and the house looked really awesome.

I read somewhere (wish I could remember exactly) that at least one of the homeowners - the one with the huge shower - is having big problems with the house, tons of things don't work and they can't afford to get it fixed. Some "expert" said you can't do that much work in a week and there not be problems. There was talk of a lawsuit.................. I did NOT want to read this as I love the idea and Ty is really cool.

Is there a repeat of the show. Our weatherman was almost on full time cause of tornado warnings.

There was no tornado spotted, but the conditions were right for a tornado to develop.

Please say it will be on again.

I too have heard about some problems with the houses...... mostly because when doing things that fast, it would be hard not to have mistakes... on one episode the shower didnt work when the owners got home and they "blew" air out the shower head with compressed air.. I am hoping that any probs they have will be fixed....

What is more upsetting is that the homeowners may have to pay taxes on the improvements.... ABC is trying to get around it by using a tax loophole and "renting" the house for a week and then any improvements made during that time, the home owners would not be liable for, but the lawyers are worried that the IRS may not go for that.... If that turns out to be the case, then the homeowners will have to pay income tax on the several hundreds of thousands of dollars of improvements on their house....

Those kids are set. They were on Sharon Osbourne show about a month or more ago. She gave them a year's worth of clothes, cash (to buy whatever they wanted), a minivan, scholarship money, and a whole lot of other stuff I can't remember. Now with this, they are completely doing well... its just the daily life they have to deal with.

That woman you saw at the beginning with the contractor Dave was our agent Kelly Thats why the production was in our office. This had to be my favorite show, one because the family deserved it so much, two because I feel like I live in such a wonderful area with such a wonderful community and three becuase I saw some of the process happening in my office in front of my eyes and I felt like part of it

My Mom and I called each other at every commercial to cry about something LOL
