They will get reassessed - knowing that their taxes will go up on their home, it's great that their mortgage was paid off. Now they just have to pay taxes & insurance. I still think this was such a heart-warming story. Personally, it didn't hurt that it was geographically close to me. So nice that the community did their part in helping out.

preshi--thats awesome it happened so close to you..i cried every commercial too..myb rother walked in and was like "waht is wrong with you"..he just didnt understand!!

I only caught it towards the end!! WOW!! It was wonderful to hear one of the girls say that now they can spend time togetther!! It is heartwarming to see the siblings care so much about one another.

I wish them the best and hope they can keep up with the house!!! It came out beautiful!!
