Extras

I'm pretty sure there are a few people on here who are extras for TV and such. I was hoping they could let me know how they go about getting work? I typed it into Google and you get dozens of companies popping up, most seem to want you to pay them in advance which makes me very very wary!

I'm interested in trying to get some work as I could do with any extra money out there and Granada Studios is quite nearby so there's lots of filming happening - Emmerdale films here for one. Any advice or links hugely appreciated.

Although i cannot help with any names I do know that all legitimate casting agencies DO NOT ask for upfront fees, they take commission after you are paid for the work you have completed. Good luck - hope to see you soon in The Woolpack!
