I recently had a hysterectomy a year ago & I use extra virgin coconut oil for everything... I use it on my skin, in my coffee, as a supplement, & it is a daily staple in my life--- it is a godsend as far as keeping your skin from being dry, giving you energy, & keeping your metabolism up. I have not had to travel yet though on an airplane.
Question is.... has anyone ever had it taken out of their checked luggage by security? I am pretty sure I can't put it in my carry on, it would probably be taken away.
If you have every packed it in your checked luggage... two questions....
1. Has it been removed from your checked luggage?
2. Since it melts at 76 degrees & then turns back into a solid at room temperature, did it leak out of the container into your luggage? I plan on putting it in a sealed baggie & the jar has it not yet been opened as of yet, so the seal is still on it....
