So if I have some extra TS credits can I ....

Me, DH, and 3 kids will be doing the free dining in Aug. If my parents (that live in Orlando) meet us for dinner, can I use 4 adult TS credits and 3 child TS credits, or will I have to pay OOP for their 2 meals?

Your KTTW will show "A02C03" on it (if the children are ages 3-9) and so you would not be able to use more than that number of people against the dining plan. Your berst bet would be to figure which adults will have the lowest price meals and put them on the separate check.

I once read where a cm suggested that a family in a similar situation use one room key to pay for their meals and then the other room key for the extra meals.

Not sure of the morality of the situation though. IMO, you pay for the meals you should be able to use them. Others will disagree.:)

Good idea....never thought of that:idea:
I never thought if the CM could see by the card if we were in the same room....but I guess they don't:cool2:

edit....I guess I do this as well....just with CS. After 5 days of eating chicken nuggets.....I'll have DH go and order her an Adult(gasp) counter service....ahem....

. . . I once read where a cm suggested that a family in a similar situation use one room key to pay for their meals and then the other room key for the extra meals . . .

1) Sounds good.
2) Sounds reasonable.
3) Won't work.
4) The keys still reference the same room and same number of participants.
5) This applies even if you and the kids have connecting rooms.
6) Just plan upon paying OOP for two adult meals.

NOTE: As Cheshire Figment alluded, WDW is pretty smart about protecting their DDP plans. Too many people have tried to skirt the system.

Sorry, you cannot share credits with people who are not on the plan.
