Extra Trip! Need help with dates please!

I am jumping for joy as my husband just announced we can go on an extra WDW trip this spring! But I need help in determining when it's best to go. We have always gone in late Sept. and February and have had wonderful times. I am thinking that early-mid May would be ideal, but I know nothing about WDW at this time of year. We can basically go anytime, but I know we want to avoid the spring break crowds and I want to get there before Memorial Day.

So can any of you spring folks give me some info on optimal timing for our bonus trip?

From what I have read early to mid-May is a good time. It is after Spring Break but before school gets out for summer break. Enjoy planning your trip

Thank you. I think we are gonna try and go May 8th-18th. We are hoping this will be post the 50th starting, but before the crowds get too big.
