Extra Towel Package?'s

So here is the deal. We are planning a stay of 8 nights at OKW and want to have the extra towel package upon arrival. Is that something we ask for at check in, can we call MS and add that to our ressie information? Also, since we will be there for 8 days, full cleaning on day 4 will they remove all the towels or will they leave the extra package amount? If so can we pay the $6 again to have it for the rest of our stay? I think we will need towels for 2 showers per day so it would be nice to have a dry set in the morning and evening. I would also consider washing them myself if I felt they needed it.

I was told you can ask at check in or just give mousekeeping a call when you are in your room.

This is what we plan to do for the first part of our stay. We are going to BCV, 3 of us, for 3 nights. We will only have 4 and since both my DD and I use two every time we shower (one for our hair) we thought $6.00 was worth it to have 4 extra.

We won't do it when we go to BLT as we will be in a 1 bedroom and will have plenty, either 5 or 8 (I have read reports of both) but regardless, since we will have the washer/dryer, it won't matter.

It's my understanding that on Trash and Towel day they remove the extra towels from your room and don't give you replacements. You have to reorder a new batch.

Thanks, I also think it will be worth the extra $6 X 2 for us to have dry towels. Since we don't have direct access to a washer/drier while in a studio.

We are going on our first DVC stay, October 4 at Kadani Village in a studio. There will be 4 adults (2 female) and an infant. So extra towels are a plus.

We are also staying for 5 nights so the 4th night clean seems to be a waste just to clean up and replace towels for one day. I'm thinking I may just ask that they skip us.

I have read that some have called mousekeeping and asked if they could come day 3 instead of day 4 since it was only a 5 or 6 night stay. In many cases, mousekeeping was able to do that, especially since it was only trash and towel.

It certainly would be worth a call as you would get the clean towels a few days ahead of time.

If you are there for eight nights, you do get a full cleaning on day four. If you are staying eight days (meaning seven nights), you do not get a full cleaning on day four, but only trash and towel service.

They will not automatically replace the extra towel pack that you purchase for the first nights of your stay unless you pay for the extra towel pack for the next four nights.

Right now we will be there for 8 nights (I don't count the last day as we leave at 5am to head home to Canada) These plans may change if I can get a 7 month opening at VB. We don't feel we need the full clean even if we do stay the length of time to be given it. After 4 days we really would only want fresh towels which we are more than willing to pay for.
