Extra Tier 1 Fastpasses

This is true, but you could simply not pre-book Muppets. Then, since you only had 2 pre-booked, you could get Soarin' as soon as you tap into ToT at 9:30. Tiers don't matter when you are booking in another park.

Thanks for the confirmation! Yes, that is what I am thinking. Cancel Muppets so I only have 2 pre-booked. We won't need a FP for Muppets, but nothing else would fit in between ToT and RnR Coaster and I wanted to have something just in case. Love that I found that Fast Pass thread!

Yeah that's a good idea. It really doesn't benefit you much to have that booked anyway due to its low popularity and huge seating capacity.

We booked it as our 3rd just because it fit in the schedule, be easily moved up and our 2nd was ST. We wanted to grab a 4th for ST right away. The CM told my kids they didn't need to tap so I had to call them back to tap it off. Just something to be aware of with that ride since the FP is completely useless otherwise.

Would you be able to modify them after you've used your earlier ones to get the time through faster? For example, could I book a 9am TT, 10am SE and an 11am Nemo, get on TT at 9, then at 9.15 rebook the 10am SE to 9.30, then after getting off SE at 9.45, rebook the 11am Nemo for 10am?

Last month, when I tried to add another FP after using our 3, I couldn't until the hour was up from the last FP (at least if we were in the same park). We were in MK, fininshed 7D with a 2 pm Fp, got done at 2:15. Tried to book another FP, but wouldn't let me. Kept checking and at 3, it let me do another FP. Not sure if this is how it is supposed to work or a glitch, but it was our experience.

I must be behind the times. I thought that all 3 fast passes had to be in the same park? Has this changed or am I missing something here?

They have to be in the same park to pre-book at 60 days. The day of, you can have one Fp in one park, use it, then book the other 2 in a different park if you like or use all 3 in one park, then book another in the same or different park. You just can't hold 2 Fps for 2 different parks .

That's not how it is supposed to work, or how it's ever worked in my experience.
In your case, for some reason, MDE didn't record your 3rd FP as used when you scanned in so it made you wait till the time expired.
Had the FP properly recorded as used you could have gotten another as soon as you scanned in the first tap point.
