I’m going in November for my baby’s 2nd birthday and was thinking of booking extra things to celebrate. Before I had a baby we would do the tours and things all the time in the park but I know most of those are for older kids or adults. Is there anything toddler friendly to book? I’m going to do a capture your moment on her birthday, but besides that not sure if there’s anything I can do

There are things to do but not really excursions/tours or any real ticketed event that is toddler centric. Hard to think of anything extra I'd pay for when my kids were little since they were so easily entertained. Here's a few ideas that might work but all depending on what you'd think your child would enjoy or you'd like to do too.
  • could do the silhoutte cart and get a cut out of your child, more for you then them :)
  • fun character meal
  • see the horses/ride at Fort Wilderness
  • Kidcot at epcot or the scavenger hunts (if they've got it going in conjuction with the festival)
  • all the character meet and greets especially the disney junior dance party/characters at DHS
  • the splash pad at MK

Thanks! For the horses at fort wilderness is that something we can just show up or need to book in advance?

Character meal for sure.
Last summer my toddler LOVED the fireworks cruise. We booked a private one for our party of 7 and it ended up less expensive per person than the ferrytails or pirates cruises. Included drinks and snacks. The gentleman that was our captain was AMAZING.
Highly recommended if you are down for a bit of a splurge.

A firework cruise sounds like a great idea! Did you do the one for Epcot or magic kingdom? I’m wondering if the Epcot one would feel too close to the fireworks and possibly scare my baby. She was scared of them when she was 13 months but then loved them on our last trip at 18 months so I’m thinking she’d be ok with it

We did magic kingdom so it was outside the park. You can't see the projections too well but sound is piped into the boat and after the fireworks the captain will (at least for the one we booked) loop around to watch the waterparent.

We really appreciated this option as it let us enjoy the fireworks without being in a huge crowd or having to stake out a viewing spot way ahead. We did have to meet the boat quite early but were able to enjoy a relaxing ride on the lake before hand.

Thank you for the suggestion!

When my kids were toddlers they were more impressed by all the free things and just the world happening around them. My kids loved watching the amphibicars at the Boathouse, Stitch spitting water at the World of Disney at DS, the jumping water fountains at Epcot, dancing with street performers in the Animal Kingdom, eating a mickey icecream bar. At that age they don't care much about the paid for experiences they find joy in all the little things which is the best part of bringing kids that age to Disney---watching the magic in their eyes.
