Has someone trained a dog to detect slot machines that are about to pay off?
Works both ways... Casinos would probably use it to take machines out of service.

They got them at DLP.Rumor has it that they may be getting metal detectors soon too. (http://thrillgeek.com/2015/12/rumor-walt-disney-world-and-disneyland-about-to-get-metal-detectors/)
If they do install metal detectors, what a cluster that is going to turn into. Bag checks are bad enough. So according to the link above this is happening this Friday? That should be interesting with the holiday crowds.
Rumor has it that WDW may have security personnel with metal detector wands as well.
It's really not too surprising.
Somebody dressed like the fairy godmother can perform this task.

Ill be there Thursday-Sunday (in the parks Friday-Saturday, maybe some on Sun), I'll report what I see when I go
I've always noticed them, I'm just seeing more, in terms of usually there is 1 OCSO cruiser parked at each park and the TTC, when I went I said I saw more, meaning when I went there was 2 or 3 at HS, a couple cruisers at the MK bus loop (plus one parked at the traffic light by the Contemporary). I didn't go to any other parks so I can't speak for the TTC, EP, or AK.The reports of people seeing officers in the parks are really anecdotal. We live just a few miles away from the parks and visit very, very frequently. There have always (well at least for the last several years) been police officers around the parks. Its not new. You're just noticing them more now because you're looking for them.
I'm just thinking to myself that it would be funny to get a pat down at the entrance to a WDW park from someone wearing those big white Mickey hands.

Just read about the metal detectors and adults banned from wearing costumes...Ok for children 14 and under..Surely this will not be the case on MNSSHP nights...?...
According to the Orlando Sentinel "Disney World is also discontinuing the sale of toy guns and banning people 14 and older from wearing costumes – even at Halloween parties. "
