Extra points and Use Year Question

Funny thing I used to work at Marriott in Newport Beach, CA at one of the vacation club properties. I told myself I would NEVER buy a timeshare. Reason being because at the Marriott ones the salespeople were so sleazy. They would promise oceanview rooms to every buyer when only a minimal amount of rooms were ocean view and many had no view at all and then people would come to the front desk and expect their perfect room and i would end up getting screamed at because they didn't get it so I was wary, but Disney operates completely different and I like that you pay for the room type you're gunna get. I also wondered if I was dvc I would be treated differently once I was locked in, so I rented points from someone to see and we were treated so well. I'll never forget the cast member that literally waited 45 minutes for me to finish my blabbing with a Canadian DVC member i met in the laundry room that was giving me all her tips and tricks so he wouldn't interrupt me when he had a question to ask me. Obviously I'm a talker and had no idea he was waiting there to speak to me, definitely top notch service

Do you regret juggling the two?

Not yet but it’s only been 6 months. I plan to use my February contract for April school vacation trips and the October contract for fall trips. I do a lot of long term vacation planning so I have everything planned down to each point for the next 3-5yrs.
