What's the opinion of squeezing in an extra child so we don't have to get two rooms?

We did Disney on a budget several years ago when my kids were 4-10 years old and stayed at the CBR.

We actually squeezed a couple extra kids more that we were supposed to in that year, and no one questioned us, however I did feel a bit conspicuous. Not sure how common it is.

The rooms were pretty small and we felt pretty cramped. However we were hardly in the room. Since that vacation we have always gone with two rooms anywhere we go, or a two or 3 bedroom condo.

Have fun and do what you think is best for your family!

I'm assuming that you already know what Disney's room occupancy maximums are for the room/resort you want to stay in.

Whether or not to squeeze "in an extra child so we don't have to get two rooms" is matter for your values and your conscience.

Presleyg, Disney has to follow the Florida State Fire Codes regarding room occupancy and such. I believe occupancy size is based upon the room size and the number of beds in the room. For example, if there are two queen-sized beds in the room, Disney states that only four people may occupy it. The occupancy limits are for the safety of the resort guests.

Last March we 'squeezed' 5 in a PORiverside room meant for 4 by bringing an inflatable bed. Neither my conscience nor my wallet protested.

The same opinion I have of squeezing a 13 oranges into the bag that's supposed to contain a dozen at the grocery store.
