:flower3: Hi there hope someone can help. We have booked a cabin for dec. 26 for 6 people. The problem, I now think my neice might come. Do you know if there would be a problem bringing an air mattress. we are 3 adults and three kids. Please send advice on how to handle this, we can't get another reservation. Thanks, Kelly

well, disney says you can't go over 6 people unless one is an infant.

If one of the kids is 3 or younger, there won't be a problem. Otherwise, it's not allowed. It's not Disney's rules -- it's fire code.

The only rooms that will accomodate 7 people are the 2-bedroom villas at the DVC resorts.

Or, you can get 2 rooms at any other resort. :)

We are going to the food and wine festival in october also. Have you been before and is it gonna be worth the trip? We are really excited. Thanks again for all the info. Kelly

there will be pleanty of room for an airmatress, the cabins are big, so i say do it i know people who have done it before and it worked just one persone dosent have a room key so i say :thumbsup2

Someone seems to know the ins and outs of bending the rules at the ripe old age of 13.

Besides it being over the limit for the cabin (unless one is under 3), there isn't THAT much room in there. An air mattress would have to be in the middle of the kitchen floor, or in the hallway (where anyone going to the bathroom would step on your niece).

you could also fit another person on the pull down bed, its pretty big, me, my mom and dan all fit on it comfortably and none of us are like 4 feet tall

Kelly's question has been answered. I think it needs to be dropped before it get's nasty. I beginning to feel the tension in here. Kelly now knows unless one of the kids are under 3 she can not have more than 6 persons in the cabin. What she does with the info is her business.

We can not condone breaking of rules here on the DIS. Please refrain from advising people how to get around Disney's rules. Many times, these rules are in place for our own safety -- like in this instance. It's against Fire Code to put more than 6 people in a cabin. I wouldn't want to be responsible for telling somebody it's ok to sneak somebody in, then have something bad happen.

Since the OPs question has been answered, I'm closing this thread now, before it gets out of hand.
