Hello- first post...I have been going to WDW for years both as a young family and as a empty nester. Now my wife and I want to take our college aged kids to WDW in January. I booked the resort (Pop Century) for the second week in January,a nd when I did it was for my wife and I as it is the default setting since my wife and I only usually go. When I went to add my kids it bumped my price by $400 for the stay (don't worry Disney you will still suck that money out of me before we leave). I understand this is normal hotel practice (I think it's dumb, but who am I). Usually when we travel together elsewhere I book as a single and no one ever questions it. I am not cheap, but seems silly to pay that extra money.
Anyway, my question...most hotels dont care, but with WDW linking everything together if I don't add them what problems may I face (virtual queues I assume should be fine since those are ticket based), I know pool access, and room access may be an issue unless I get actual key cards and share it with them. Any other issues that I should be aware of?
