Hello there! I have a question maybe somebody can answer for me. I am staying at OKW in August in a studio room with two adults and two children. My brother and his girlfriend are coming down also, and would like to spend two days "crashing" with us, until they check into their room. Is this allowed? If so, can I get them a parking pass for two nights? Ani info would be appreciated.

The occupancy is four people plus one kid under three.

I sure hope they don't allow six.

FWIW, OKW studios have two queen sized beds. DVC will not provide rollaways/cots or any extra bedding to accomodate more than the stated maximum for the unit. I also think you would have trouble getting two parking passes because your reservation says 2 adults and 2 children, but that is JMHO.

Even if you ignore the occupancy rules , 4 adults and 2 children would pack that studio tighter than a can of sardines. There is really not floor space for two to sleep on the floor and let's not forget about one bathroom for six people. If you ask member services, according to the rules , the answer should be no. If you just sneak them in, can you get away with it? Probably.

I would definatly not WANT to do this! Talk about CROWDED!!!

There are some reports of DVC allowing 5 in a studio, but they will only still have the 2 queen beds and one pack-n-play crib.

As you can already tell, this topic has cause many a heated debate. Any thread on occupancy issues above the stated limit have been confined to the debate board.
