Extra Magical Hours

Mmm... I thought I'd already submitted this question but it's not appeared so apologies if it magically appears later!

We're going for 1 week in October and need to go to the Kennedy Space Centre for our space mad DS. A while ago I looked up the opening times for the parks and noted down when the Extra Magical Hours were so I could decide when to go to KSC. I've had another look today and they've all changed! So my question to you regulars is do the days for EMH tend to change at short notice or should they be fixed now for October?

I had my days all planned out according to his site. Only had to change one day when new Fantasmic days were announced.

I think Disney will give their final tweaks to the timetable in the middle of September.

Thanks Nikki - I think the announcement of extra Fantasmic shows must be why they've changed. I want to book the KSC trip in the next couple of days though because Attraction Tickets Direct have an offer on for a free child entry for every adult ticket - that'll save us about £100!!

From my previous experience, Extra Magic Hours tend to be tweaked from their original schedule at about three months out (though as you've just experienced, this "tweak" can be quite a dramatic change as well!), but after that point, they will stay the same. Park hours however are subject to change right up until the week before you go - once again, they rarely change that much, but it can happen.
