extra magical hours? wristbands? or KTTW card?

I read that the wristbands have been discontinued. Is this true? So will we need to keep our KTTW card out pretty much at all times? I bought some cheap lanyards for DH and I, will they just be able to look at them through it, or will be need to pull them out? Also for DD4 will I need to pull hers out then too each time? Or should I get another clear lanyard and just wear it myself and keep hers in there?

KTTW has to be shown for extra magic hours Some of the rides wanted to see all of our cards other rides were good with just mine or dh's.

When we were there in Oct 08, we only went to the evening EMH, and it seemed like mostly they asked for the KTTW the first hour or two, then not so much after that time.

When we were there in dec it was KTTW it was a pain to have to pull out our keys for every ride we went on and I just had them in my pocket. I recommend getting the lanyards w/ the clear sleeve for the keys and just wear them all on one lanyard or everyone have their own.

Really? I thought it was ok for non-resort people to be there as long as they weren't riding the rides.

Are you joking? I hope so.

Why would anyone want to stay and just hang out and do nothing for one. And that is what EMH's are for..resort guest. I know our last two trips I have seen people turned away and some got mad.
Others just didn't know and were fine with it.
I know 10 years ago when I went, I knew nothing about hte EMH's, but I stayed offsite. A neighbor went and stayed and was so excited about the EMH's and told me all about it when she got back. I made my mind up there that some day I would stay on site. Not just for the EMH's but all the other cool stuff she was describing. LOL!
