Hi everyone. My last trip to Disney was 2013, and am thinking about another trip in 2017. Looking at threads again, I'm seeing talk of Extra Magic Mornings. Can someone explain? Is this different from Extra Magic Hours when you stay in a resort hotel? Thanks!

This is a paid, ticketed event. You also need a park ticket for that day. You can enter park at 7:45am and ride PP, Pooh, 7DMT at Magic Kingdom (and breakfast at Pinocchio) or TSM and ST, along with character meets at DHS (and breakfast at ABC I think?). You have until 10:00am to eat breakfast. Many MK reports of those trying this event have been positive. There are limited numbers of tickets sold (but I don't really know if anyone knows this number???). $69 adults and $59 children, plus tax. MK has been going since April (2 mornings a week) and DHS is starting in August (2 mornings a week). Reports are that the MK crowds aren't really affected by the EMM crowds. We are trying the EMM event at MK in August. It's expensive, but we only go once a year and are willing to try it once at the MK. This ticketed event is open to anyone willing to pay the price (you don't have to be a resort guest). But, you would want to be there early as to not waste any precious ($$$) time. There are still EMH available to those staying at a resort.
Hope this helps:-)

They also added EMM to DHS starting August 1st 2016 through at least September 2016 right now: http://www.wdwinfo.com/news-stories...c-now-available-at-disneys-hollywood-studios/

At DHS it's available on Mondays and Wednesdays again starting August 1st through at least September..there is talk here on the boards on whether or not they will expand it to the other parks.

I know you said your trip was for 2017 but depending on when you go and if they continue with 1) offering EMM during certain times of the year 2) expand it to other parks, you may run into it when you go.

I didn't start paying attention to EMM until about a month ago - it is pretty consistent with the Sunday/Tuesday schedule at MK? Trying to finalize my touring plans for MK for October and it's killing me not knowing if it will #1 extend into October and #2 stick with the same days of the week.
