Extra Magic Morning-best method?

I've read on some threads that if I drive to the parking lot (staying at the wilderness) that there is a good chance that I won't make it to rope drop, even if I get to the parking lot before 7:30!? Does this sound right?

drive to the MK so I have no experience there. I have not had issues with DHS or Epcot. I have had an issue getting into DAK before 7:30 AM on an EMH morning. We watched all the buses come and go as we sat in line waiting for the people to start taking money.

We were not late, but we had to walk a lot further than riding the bus and we were well back in line.
