Can someone explain these to me. I know about early entry in the morning, but now I've heard certain parks are open up to three hours later on certain days. How does this work? And is this 3 hours later than the posted times, which for next week are 8 am to midnight at MK, for instance?

You seem to get it just fine!! If MK is listed as opening at 9:00, and it is an EMH morning there, then you can get in at 8 if you are staying on-site. At night, if MK is listed as closing at 10:00, and it is listed as an EMH night there, you can stay in the park until 1 a.m.!! But you have to have been in the park already that day. You can't have a non-hopper pass, go to Epcot for the day and then 'hop' over to MK and try to get in for the EMH that night. It takes a park pass.

Can you have a base ticket and take advantage of the late EMH? Like, can you spend the day at the MK and go back to resort, then back for the late hours? :)

As long as you are staying on property, yes.

yep...a base ticket (w/o hopping) will get you into the same park you were in that day. for example: today is EMH at MK. if you use your base ticket (and DON'T have hopping option) and go to MK that day, you can come back for the EMH. if you went to another park that day, you wouldn't be able to come back to MK (unless you had the hopping option) because you can only do 1 park 1 day on the MYW tickets.

So I just want to make sure I understand this correctly, if I have a hopper(which I am planning a 5 day hopper) I can spend the day, at say, Epcot but MK is the late EMH park, so I can go to Epcot for the day and then hop to MK for the late hours? (Hence the word hop, huh?) :Pinkbounc We are night owls so I want to take advantage of all the late EMH as opposed to all the Early EMH. Does this make sense? :scratchin But if I understand correctly, I would have to be in the park by I think 4pm to get a wristband?? And yes i am staying at POP, and sooooooooooo looking forward to it :dancer: . Thank you so much for any help! :sunny: :earsboy:

You do not have to be in the EMH park by a certain time to get a wristband. They start giving them out something like 2 hours before the EMH starts. You can enter the park anytime after that to get a wristband. I understand that as long as you are a resort guest you can even enter the EMH park after the official closing time, get a wristband, and join in the EMH. Of course, if you do this you will have less than three hours. However, I have also read that the first hour is the busiest and then people start leaving. So the last two hours are the best anyway.
