Extra Magic Hours

I know how Extra Magic Hours work but I was confused on one thing. Now this may be a stupid question but I have noticed that the Extra Magic Hours at MK are longer right now sometime the park is open to 1 am but when I went to check the Extra Magic Hours for when I am going which is June 23-30 the latest ANY park is open is midnight and that is at MK. So I was wondering if there is any reason behind the parks being open later now than in the summer when it makes more sense to be open later?

They might extend MK hours later if they feel the need to. But these days, the originally released hours at MK have been cut back from the summer hours in previous years. Midnight appears to be the latest they are having regular Mk hours on any given night. Evening EMH has also been placed on Wednesdays at MK...Wednesday is not one of the nights it's traditionally open later.

I think there is a possibility the 10 PM closings at MK may be extended, at least on weekends. Will have to wait and see. But these days I don't think it's very likely to see a regular closing scheduled after midnight.

Epcot ALWAYS closes at 9 except for certain nights during Food and Wine, and 9:30 during the holiday season.

DHS isn't known for staying open much past 10.

AK hours are expected to be extended but that won't happen until their nighttime events are ready.
